The Vahedi laboratory’s first PhD student, Dr. Naomi Goldman, defended her PhD in September 2023. Naomi joined the lab in 2017 and is now a postdoc fellow in the lab of Dr. Arlene Sharpe at Harvard Medical School. Naomi received the prestigious Saul Winegrad Award for Outstanding Dissertation in 2024. Naomi published 10 manuscripts during her time in the lab. Her most significant contribution in our lab has been the discovery of the role of TCF-1’s intrinsically disordered domain in T cell development.
